This policy (the "Privacy Policy") is intended to inform you of our practices regarding the collection, use and sharing of information that you may provide to us through our platform (the "Platform") accessible from the website quavy.app.

3. The information we collect

We may collect and process the following data:

3.1. Personal data, that you transmit directly to us

By using our Site, you are led to transmit information to us, some of which are likely to identify you ("Personal Data"). This is notably the case when you fill in forms (such as the registration form), when you connect to our Platform via your Twitch Account, when you participate in one of our games, contests, promotional offers, studies or surveys, when you contact us - whether by phone, email or any other means of communication - or when you report a problem concerning the use of our Platform.

This information includes the following data:

3.1.1 The data necessary to register for the service we provide on our Platform or to access any other service provided by us.

This data includes your first and last name, email address, date of birth and, when you create an account, a password. This information is mandatory. If you do not provide this information, Quavy will not be able to provide you with the services offered by our Platform or, if applicable, you will not be allowed to create an account on our Platform; If you decide to register and give us access to your account on a social networking service (Twitch, Youtube), we may collect personal data already associated with the account in question.

3.1.2 The data from your Twitch account necessary for the proper functioning of Quavy, namely :

  • the account ID
  • the name of the account
  • the email linked to the account

3.1.3 The data from your Youtube account necessary for the proper functioning of Quavy is :

  • the account ID
  • the name of the account
  • first name
  • last Name
  • profile photo
  • language
  • permissions

3.2 Data storage

When you send us information it is stored directly on :

  • MongoDB Atlas
  • Mailchimp
  • Analytics
  • Hotjar

3.3 The duration of data retention

  • 3.3.1. With the exception of the categories of Personal Data referred to in Articles 3.3.2. and 3.3.3. below, your Personal Data is deleted after the following periods:
  • 2 years after your last use of our Platform (unless you request deletion earlier)
  • 2 years after your registration to our beta or newsletter (unless you request deletion before)
  • 3.3.2 The following categories of Personal Information may be retained for different periods of time:
  • Financial data (e.g. payments, refunds, etc.) are kept for the length of time required by applicable tax and accounting laws (e.g. accounting documents and records are kept for up to 10 years)
  • The data related to your Twitch, Youtube, Instagram, Twitter, Discord, TikTok, Facebook, Reddit account that you have provided for the use of Quavy will be archived after 30 days, following the closure of your account
  • The content created by you on our Platform (such as comments, reviews) are anonymized after the deadlines mentioned in 2.3.1 but remain visible on our Platform
  • Telephone conversations with our service department are kept for up to 1 month and analysis documents (such as the time or duration of the call) are kept for up to 1 year.
  • 3.3.3. In the event that your account has been suspended or blocked, we will retain your data for a period of 2 or 10 years depending on the severity of the violation from the time of suspension in order to prevent you from circumventing the rules of our Platform.

4. Personal data, which are automatically collected

Usage Data is collected automatically when you use the Service.

Usage Data may include information such as the Internet Protocol address (e.g., IP address) of your Device, browser type, browser version, the pages of our Service you visit, the time and date of your visit, the time spent on those pages, unique Device identifiers, and other diagnostic data.

When you access the Service by or through a mobile device, we may automatically collect certain information, including, but not limited to, the type of mobile device you are using, your mobile device's unique identifier, your mobile device's IP address, your mobile operating system, the type of mobile Internet browser you are using, unique device identifiers, and other diagnostic data.

The Company allows you to create an account and log in to use the Service through the following third-party social media services:

Users can choose to share their videos and content within their Quavy account(s). Content may contain personal data. Users can choose to share their content in different ways:

  • Upload a video and share the video file
  • Upload videos directly to YouTube
  • Create, share and/or publish a web link of the video,
  • Embed a video directly into external websites and social media platforms.

While Quavy offers you the ability to share your content with others, such as uploading videos to YouTube, and we strive to direct our users only to parties that we believe take a responsible approach to handling personal data, it is your responsibility to determine whether you are comfortable with the privacy practices of those parties before doing so. We encourage Quavy users to take the time to review the privacy policies of sites or services that may be linked through our platform.

9. Use of your personal data

The Company may use personal data for the following purposes:

To provide and maintain our service, including to monitor the use of our service.
